Dr. Trang Duong is a Naturopathic Physician and Registered Midwife. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Biology (Honors) from UC Santa Cruz and a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Washington. In BC she initially worked as a solo midwife prior to developing the Community Birth Program. She enjoys caring for families from preconception care through pregnancy, birth and beyond - supporting a holistic and natural approach to health for families. Her areas of focus are to optimize women’s health with preconception care, fertility support, hormone balancing, postpartum recovery and perimenopause management. She offers PAPs, IUD & Nexplanon insertions (via pop-up clinics), fertility awareness counselling, emergency medication contraceptive. She has over 20 years experience in breastfeeding counseling and problem-solving complex breastfeeding issues. She is certified in acupuncture for labor & delivery and incorporates her naturopathic knowledge into her midwifery care. She is a past Board Member of the Midwives Association of BC and Clinical Faculty UBC, Dept of Family Medicine, Division of Midwifery.

Dr. Brian Gluvic is a Naturopathic Physician at the Community Natural Health, where he provides family medical care with an emphasis on diet, nutrition, lifestyle counselling, bio identical hormone replacement and natural therapies. He offers a patient-centered approach that aims to identify and treat the root causes of disease and a holistic perspective that considers a patient’s genetics, environment, and lifestyle. He completed a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Environmental Studies at the University of Victoria and naturopathic medical degree at Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington.
